UofL's Bike Friendly University initiatives get national profile on Bike Talk

On March 20, 2026, the Bike Friendly University work at the University of Louisville was featured on the national program "Bike Talk," in an interview with UofL's daily bike commuter and Assistant to the Provost for Sustainability Initiatives, Dr. Justin Mog, along with his colleague Tim Potter at Michigan State University.

This national exposure comes at the perfect time, as UofL recently earned silver-level Bicycle Friendly University status from the League of American Bicyclists. The certification is valid for the period 2025-2029 and it marks the fourth such certification UofL has received since 2013.
