The Office of the President and the Black Faculty/Staff Association present the inaugural Juneteenth lecture series "Juneteenth: A Long Time Coming" in virtual and in-person formats.
The keynote address will be delivered by Professor Melissa Harris-Perry, the Maya Angelou presidential chair with Wake Forest University.
Professor Ricky L. Jones, graduate director and chair, UofL department of Pan-African studies, and Brigitte Burpo, clinical assistant professor with the UofL department of health and sport sciences, will serve as co-moderators.
