AUDIO: UofL Masters of Urban Planning Capstone Students, Danielle Story & Elizabeth Frank on Transit-Oriented Development

On this week's edition of Sustainability Now!, your host, Justin Mog, sits down with Elizabeth Frank & Danielle Story, who are both professional planners and students in UofL’s Masters in Urban Planning spring 2017 Capstone course. The students took on the project of contributing to Louisville’s Comprehensive Plan updating process by assessing the possibilities for smart, efficient, livable, healthy Transit Oriented Development (TOD) in Louisville. The conversation explores issues of transportation, land use, and affordable housing, with an eye to not only the opportunities and challenges in Louisville, but the lessons we can learn from other cities.

See the students’ reports and beautiful story maps here.

Sustainability Now! airs on FORward Radio, 106.5fm, WFMP-LP Louisville, every Monday at 6pm and repeats Tuesdays at 10am.
