Campus Sustainability Day Fair marks 18th anniversary to kick-off UofL Sustainability Week 2025
On October 15th, students, faculty, staff, and community members gathered on the Humanities Quad from 10am-2pm for the 18th annual celebration of all things sustainable at UofL and in our community! At the 18th Annual Campus Sustainability Day Fair on the same location, participants learned what campus and community groups are doing to create a sustainable revolution, signed-up to get involved, and left with some green freebies, great information, and a smile on their face!
The Fair offered free bicycle tune-ups, battery & lamp recycling, and a pop-up Free Sale hosted by the UofL Free Store! At the UofL Sustainability Council booth, those who took the Cards Go Green Pledge were invited to fill up a reusable, ethically-sourced UofL Sustainability mug with a dozen different kinds of fresh brewed herbal teas from our Campus Gardens.
