UofL senior Sustainability major reflects on emerging from the pandemic as better people
On this week’s edition of Sustainability Now!, your host, Justin Mog, pedals over to the studio with Palmer Stroup, a UofL senior from Paducah, KY about to graduate with a degree in Sustainability. We discuss the “new normal” with the COVID-19 pandemic helping get people outside while also increasing our digital connections and online learning. We talk about the environmental benefits resulting from the pandemic, both in immediate terms and down the road when we “get back to normal.” We also discuss the Heine Brothers' barista sick-out strike that started on Friday and the plight of unsung heroes in this pandemic.
