It’s on! Since 2014, “Veganuary” has inspired and supported millions of people to try eating vegan, with participants from almost every country in the world. Join in here to get the resources, support, and encouragement you need!
Here at UofL, we want to make it easy for you to find delicious plant-based options all over campus! Below are some options available at UofL Dining locations that are completely free of animal products and the associated suffering, ecological and climate destruction, and threats to human health:
Heirloom at the Ville Grill
Heirloom is a fresh, made to order vegan station.
This station offers a variety of different options every day that have plant-based proteins, nuts, seeds, grains, and legumes.
Look around the Ville Grill to find our Vegan dining icons on the menu boards!
And remember that the Ville Grill is generally the most sustainable place to eat on campus because it is where you will find the most locally-sourced items and because it is a zero waste facility with no single-use disposable items, where you can eat on real plates with real silverware or grab a reusable to-go container (and they’ll do the dishes for you!) and any waste is either composted or recycled.
