Join the Engage Lead Serve Board's (ELSB) Human Prosperity team for a panel discussion about food apartheid here in Louisville and across the country. Learn what you can do help and organizations to support!

The purpose is to discuss and educate ourselves about food apartheid and the systemic lack of access to fresh and healthy food here in Louisville. We'll be highlighting the important distinction between the issue framing of the term "food deserts" versus "food apartheid."

Attendees will also get to explore how we can make a difference through awareness, legislation, donating time/money, and working with organizations available on campus such as the Food Recovery Network - UofL Chapter, and the Cardinal Cupboard free campus food pantry in SAC W314.

RSVP on Engage.
