Join Campus Recreation for a 12.5 mile overnight backpacking trip in the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area.
This trail offers a chance for up close views of the Cumberland River. The trail turns into a steep climb that leads to the top of a bluff, where river overlooks offer a panoramic view of the Big South Fork.
On the top of the bluff, the trail winds its way through beautiful mountain laurel and hardwood forest.
Several overlooks of the river and creek valleys can be found along the way, such as the Angel Falls Overlook and the Fall Branch Overlook.
$60 per person. Registration required.
