16th Annual Campus Sustainability Day Fair caps UofL Sustainability Week

2023 Campus Sustainability Day FairWith perfect autumn weather, the University of Louisville Sustainability Council capped a highly engaging and varied UofL Sustainability Week - Oct. 19-25, 2023 with the 16th Annual Campus Sustainability Day Fair on the Humanities Quad on Wednesday, Oct. 25th from 10am-2pm.

As usual, the entire campus community was encouraged to stop by the Quad for a celebration of all things sustainable at UofL and in our community! Students, faculty, staff, and community members came to learn what campus and community groups are doing to create a sustainable revolution and signed-up to get involved. Visitors left with some green freebies, great information, and a smile on their face!

This year's fair offered participants the chance to:

  • Earn an ethically-sourced reusable mug by taking the Cards Go Green Pledge;
  • Fill up your reusable mug with Hot Local Apple Cider and grab a local donut from UofL Dining;
  • Enjoy a Bike Blender Smoothie from Health Promotion!
  • Bring your bike for a free tune-up! Learn about all of UofL's Transportation Alternatives, and get hands-on, personalized guidance in how to use UofL's Bike Fix-It Stations!
  • Shop and donate clothing, housewares, and all kinds of free stuff at our Pop-up UofL Free Store
