RESULTS: Congrats to Emily Coleman, UofL’s National Bike Challenge champion!!
UofL‘s Sustainability Council and Get Healthy Now tip our helmets and pass a $400 bike shop voucher to Emily Coleman, a Dental Clinic Senior Associate, who finished 1st for Team UofL in the 2019 National Bike Challenge! Emily was the 3rd best bike commuter in Kentucky (328mi in 92 commute trips), and the 4th best Kentucky cyclist overall (680 miles in 237 bike trips). Emily burned 25,151 calories & prevented 236lbs of carbon pollution during the Challenge from May 1st to September 30th. As Emily says, "I ride because it makes me and the environment feel better."

Register for the National Bike Challenge and Join Team UofL as an individual to compete against your peers.
Your miles and days cycled will qualify employees for great prizes through Get Healthy Now, including the grand prize of a $400 voucher to a local bike shop, co-sponsored by UofL's Sustainability Council!
The National Bike Challenge is open to everyone, however the Get Healthy Now competition is restricted to UofL employees, retirees, and their spouses/qualifying adults.
