Guest speakers, John Rhodes and Noah Barns, of the Engage Lead Serve Board, Human Prosperity Committee will be exploring the topic of food deserts in Louisville.

Food deserts are defined as parts of the country void of fresh fruit, vegetables, and other healthful whole foods, usually found in impoverished areas.

More than 6 percent of people in Louisville live in a food desert according to the USDA Food Atlas.

This is an HSC Office of Diversity and Inclusion brown bag lunch event.
