What To Bring Checklist
Getting ready for move-in? Use this checklist to help you pack for your campus home. Some items may depend on the type of residence hall or apartment you’re assigned to, so be sure to review the notes below before you shop. Items that are not permitted in University Housing are also listed at the bottom of this page.
Before You Pack
- Traditional residence halls may have different needs than suite- or apartment-style communities.
- Communal bathrooms in traditional halls mean some bathroom items may not be necessary.
- Provided furniture must remain in the room. You are welcome to bring additional furniture to add to your room, if space allows, but no University provided furniture is permitted to be removed from the room.
- For fire safety and housing policy details, review the University Housing policies page.
- Moving trucks, UHauls, or other trailers are not permitted on campus during move-in.
