Thinking about living on campus at the University of Louisville? We’d love to show you around. Join us for a guided tour of one of our on-campus residence halls and get a feel for what residential life is really like.

Tour Availability

Tours are offered by appointment only, Monday–Friday.

Please note:

• We do not offer weekend tours.
• Tours are not available on University holidays.
• Tours are unavailable during the month of August due to peak operational activity.

Tour Blackout Dates

Tours will also be unavailable on the following dates:

• University Holidays (as observed by UofL)
• Month of August (Move-In and preparation period)
• Additional high-volume or campus closure dates may apply based on our Room Selection timeline

If you submit a request during a blackout period, we will follow up with alternative options.

Residence Halls Available for Tours (Fall 2025)

Tours may be scheduled for up to three of the following communities:

• Belknap Village South (includes viewing North and South furniture styles)
• Bettie Johnson Hall
• Cardinal Towne Apartments
• Community Park Suites
• Kurz Hall
• Louisville Hall
• The Province
• University Pointe
• University Tower Apartments

While we’d love to show you everything, tours are limited to three residence halls per visit. Please only request three communities when submitting your form.

Scheduling Your Tour

• Please schedule your tour at least one week in advance.
• Requests made with shorter notice cannot be guaranteed, though we will do our best to accommodate.
• Tour requests are processed during regular business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).
• Requests submitted outside of business hours or during university closures will be processed in the order received once the office reopens.

After you submit the form, a member of the University Housing team will confirm your appointment via email.

What to Expect

Tours begin at either the University Housing Central Office, located in the first-floor lobby of Stevenson Hall, or in front of one of the scheduled halls. 

Each hall tour lasts approximately 20–25 minutes. Because of this, the latest tour start time is 4:00 p.m.,  which will only allow time to visit one hall.

During your visit, you will:

• See a model room in the building(s) selected
• View the lobby and available amenities
• Learn about residential life, hall features, and campus living

For privacy reasons, we are not able to show specific assigned rooms or guarantee viewing a particular room style. All tours feature designated model rooms only.

If you are touring The Province, please note that you are responsible for arranging your own transportation to and from that location due to its distance from central campus.

Our student tour staff will be available to answer questions about living on campus, amenities, and the overall residential experience.
