Summer Conference & Camp Housing at UofL
Explore convenient on-campus housing options for your summer group at the University of Louisville. Whether you’re hosting a youth camp, professional conference, or internship program, we offer flexible accommodations—from traditional residence halls to apartment-style living—along with a structured planning timeline to help you stay organized every step of the way.
Traditional Residence Halls
Centrally located traditional hall for minor groups. Double and single rooms are available with 24 private bathrooms on each floor. Shared kitchen and laundry facilities are available (utensils and cookware not included).
Suites
Located on the west side of campus for both minor and adult groups. Double and single rooms are available with jack-and-jill bathrooms in each suite. Shared kitchen and laundry facilities are available (utensils and cookware not included).
Apartments
Located on the northwest side of campus for adult groups and intern/short stays. 1-, 2-, 3-, and 4-bedroom units available with in-unit kitchen and living room. Shared laundry facilities available. This building also features convenient parking and outdoor amenities like grills and a beach volleyball court.
Planning Timeline / Important Dates
Stay on track with key milestones for securing summer housing at UofL. This timeline outlines each step of the process—from registration and agreements to guarantee meetings and final payments—so your group is fully prepared for a smooth arrival and stay on campus.
- Registration opens for Summer 2026
- Contact Dining and Parking to receive information on their summer options.
- Meet with University Housing to review your reservation request, discuss housing policies and procedures, and receive a copy of the license agreement
- Sign and submit the license agreement along with the prepayment. University organizations may submit a letter from the department dean in lieu of prepayment.
- Non-affiliated groups: Submit a certificate of insurance as indicated in the license agreement.
- Minor groups: Any groups with participants 17 and under are REQUIRED to register their program. More information is available on UofL’s Department of Enterprise Risk & Insurance website.
Contact the Disability Resource Center (askdrc@louisville.edu) if you anticipate housing guests who may require housing accommodations.
- Schedule a Guarantee Meeting with University Housing to discuss arrival, departure, group needs, and invoicing.
- Minor Groups: Verify all Youth Protection Policies are met.
- Attend “Guarantee Meeting” with final bed and linen count. No refunds will be made after the guarantee meeting.
- Make sure all tax, insurance, and license agreement documents are submitted to conference staff.
- Ensure full payment was received and processed by University Housing.
- Roster must be completed with all required information.
- Contact University Housing (Camps and Conferences) with notice of any late arrivals or early departures.
- Check-in during the 3-6 PM timeframe.
- Notify staff of any maintenance issues or room damage upon arrival.
- Report all maintenance issues using our 24/7 service desk phone number (signs will be posted in buildings).
- Notify conference staff of any early departures.
