- Summer housing will be offered in Bettie Johnson Hall

| 3/1/2026 | 9:00 AM | Summer Housing App Launches | Any students who wants to stay during the Summer or has Summer classes can start applying. |
| 3/17/2026 | 9:00 AM | Priority deadline for all Summer students | All Summers who would like to participate in Priority General Room Selection must complete the housing application by March 17th. Applications completed after the deadline will have to wait until non-priority room selection opens on March 30th. |
| 3/23/2026 | 5:00 PM | Email date/time to access Room Selection | All Summer students will receive a date and time when to select their space. |
| 3/25/2026 | 9:00 AM | Priority Room Selection for Summer Begins | All Summer students who completed their application before March 17th at 9:00 AM can select a space. |
| 3/27/2026 | 9:00 AM | Priority Room Selection for Summer Ends | All Summer students who completed their application before March 17th at 9:00 AM can select a space until 9:00 AM. Students who do not assign themselves before the deadline will be added to Non-Priority General Room Selection for picking a bedspace. |
| 3/30/26 | 9:00 AM | General Room Selection for Summer Begins | All Summer students who did not select a space in Priority or apply after the Priority deadline can select a space. |
| 4/3/2026 | 9:00 AM | General Room Selection for Summer Ends | All Summer students who did not select a space in Priority or apply after the Priority deadline can select a space until 9:00 AM. Students who do not assign themselves before the deadline will be manual assigned to a space if they haven't cancelled. |
| 4/6/2026 | 9:00 AM | Manual Assignments Begins | All Summer students who did not select a space will be manually assigned to a space until each Summer Term begins. |
Important Summer Dates and Move-In/Out Information
Please note that the move-in dates for Summer Term I and Full Summer Term pertain only to non-residents.
For any current Spring 2026 resident who has a Summer Term I or Full Summer Term assignment, you may be able remain in your spring assignment until we contact you via your UofL email that your summer space is ready. Once you are notified of your transition date into your new summer assignment, you must be able to move at that time.
For any Fall 2026 resident who has a Summer Term III or Full Summer Term assignment, you may be able to remain in your summer assignment until we contact you via your UofL email that your fall space is ready. Once you are notified of your transition date into your new fall assignment, you must be able to move at that time.
- Summer Term I: May 6, 2026 - May 27, 2026
- Summer Term I Move-In: May 5, 2026 from 1:00 - 5:00 PM
- Summer Term I Move-Out: 24 hours after last final or May 29, 2026 by 10:00 AM
- Summer Term II: May 28, 2026 - July 2, 2026
- Summer Term II Move-In: May 27, 2026 from 1:00 - 5:00 PM
- Summer Term II Move-Out: 24 hours after last final or July 3, 2026 by 10:00 AM
- Summer Term III: July 6, 2026- August 7, 2027
- Summer Term III Move-In: July 5, 2026 from 1:00 - 5:00 PM
- Summer Term III Move-Out: 24 hours after last final or August 8, 2026 by 10:00 AM
- Summer Speed Term: May 11, 2026 - July 25, 2026
- Summer Speed Term Move-In: May 10, 2026 from 1:00 - 5:00 PM
- Summer Speed Term Move-Out: 24 hours after last final or July 26, 2026 by 10:00 AM
- Full Summer Term: May 6, 2026 - August 7, 2026
- Full Summer Term Move-In: May 5, 2026 from 1:00 - 5:00 PM
