How to Submit a Cancellation Appeal

Log Into Cards Nest
Visit the main page of the Housing website and click on the yellow button that says Cards Nest Housing Portal. Once redirected to the Cards Nest login page, click the red Login button, then choose LOUISVILLE – Student SSO Login to access your account.

Click the three lines at the top left to display the drop-down menu
Scroll down on the drop-down menu to select “dispute fees”.

Click Save and Continue

Choose "Broken Lease Fees" from the dropdown
Click save and continue.

Select “View Details” under Actions

Check the box that is next to “Transaction Date”
Make sure you choose the correct fee!

In the box that prompts you to do so, state your reason for the dispute along with the necessary information the prompt asks you for.

If you have any photo documentation that would be useful for your case you may upload it by selecting the grey box underneath “Related Documents”

You may now submit your request and return to the home page.
Continue to monitor your email for a response to your dispute request. Please note
that requests can take up to 21 business days to receive a response to.
