Housing Application and LLC/TC Application Launch

First-Year Students: First-year students may log in, submit the GDPR/FERPA consent form, complete the application and fee, and create a roommate group.

First-year students may apply to join an LLC or TC for the upcoming academic year. If a student is accepted into an LLC or TC, this student will be able to log back into the Housing Portal in order to select an LLC or TC space during the appropriate room selection period.

Priority Deadline for FYF general room selection

First Year Freshmen students (for the Fall 25/Spring 26 Academic year) who would like to participate in Priority General Room Selection must complete the housing application by 11:59 p.m. Applications completed after the deadline will have to wait until non-priority room selection opens on June 2.

FYF LLC/TC Room Changes and Room Swaps Begins

For the 2025-2026 school year, all LLC/TC assignments will be done manually by the Housing Team. Students (for the Fall 24/Spring 25 Academic year) who completed the LLC/TC application and have been approved by the LLC/TC advisor will be able to log into the Housing Portal on this date and perform a room change within their LLC/TC.

If an approved, first-year LLC/TC applicant denies their LLC/TC after assignment, they will be moved into an open space in one of our halls and will then be allowed to perform a room change beginning June 2, 2025.

Priority General Room Selection Period for First Year Freshmen Students Begins

First Year Freshmen students (for the Fall 25/Spring 26 Academic year) who completed the application by the priority deadline will be able to log into the Housing Portal and assign themselves for the 2024-2025 term. Students in eligible roommate groups will be able to pull their preferred roommates into their unit.

Final Day to Cancel Living-Learning or Themed Community Application

First-Year Freshman and Upperlevel students who are approved and assigned into an LLC/TC space will be able to cancel their LLC/TC application and move into a non-LLC/TC space on campus until May 23, 2025 at 9:00 AM. After that date, all LLC/TC placements are final for the Fall 2024-Spring 2025 term.

All LLC students who were previously approved and assigned into a LLC/TC. Then, cancelled their LLC Application and were reassigned to a non-LLC bedspace. They will be able to log into the Housing Portal and go through the Room Change process to see what spaces are available and re-assign themselves. The Room Swap process will also be available at this time. Roommate groups are not able to be pulled into room changes.

Returning Residents: Students currently living on campus who wish to live on campus again next year. Students will also have an option to request they retain the bedspace in which they are currently assigned.

Priority Deadline for Room Retention for Returning Residents

Approved residents who would like to retain their current room assignments must select the Retention Request option and have a completed application by the Priority Deadline. Retention requests after this time will not be considered.

Approved residents who have successfully retained their current spaces will need to participate in room selection.

Room retention requests are not guaranteed approval, as these are based on room availability. You will receive an email by the end of the Room Retention period if your room is unavailable for retention.
