Dr. Eugene Shively has been selected to receive the 2015 Compassionate Physician Award at the 2015 Doctor's Ball. A dedicated surgeon from Taylor Regional Hospital, Dr. Shively has been an integral part of the University of Louisville Department of Surgery's mission to educate the next generation of surgeons. Nearly always on call, innumerable sleepless nights and busy weekends have been the rule throughout Dr. Shively's career.
