Application and Interview Process
-Integrated Residents
- UL Plastic Surgery offers a six-year integrated training program in which 2 residents are accepted into the program each year.
- Applications for the 2025-2026 season will be accepted through ERAS. (NRMP Code 1217362C0)
- Your application should include the following:
- Electronic application
- USMLE scores, Part I (and Part II if available)
- Personal statement
- Medical school transcript
- Documentation of AOA membership (if applicable)
- up to four letters of recommendation
- Dean’s letter
- Curriculum vitae
- In-Person Interview Dates for the 2025-2026 applicant season:
- Monday, December 01, 2025
- Monday, December 08, 2025
- The in-person interview day typically runs from 7am-2pm with a social meet and greet on the Sunday evening prior to your interview day.
- Please note that our program strictly adheres to the policies set forth by the American Council of Educators in Plastic Surgeons (ACEPS). Please refer to ACEPS for important information.
-Independent Fellows
- UL Plastic Surgery offers a three-year independent training program in which 1 fellow is accepted into the program each year.
- Applications for the 2025-2026 season will be accepted through SFMatch.org
- In-Person interviews will be on Monday, March 9, 2026.
- The in-person interview day typically runs from 7am-2pm with a social meet and greet on Sunday evening prior to the interview day.
