Department of Surgery Associate Professor Dr. Eric Davis, who is currently completing a transplant fellowship at Mt. Sinai, and Dr. Sander Florman, Mt. Sinai transplant surgeon and son of the Department of Surgery's Dr. Larry Florman, did a kidney transplant for brothers who would not otherwise been able to have it done. The New York Times featured this story . Dr. Davis will return to Louisville in July and join UofL Physicians-Surgery's transplant group.
