Professor Bill Cheadle , has been elected President-Elect of the Surgical Infection Society. The Surgical Infection Society is a group of reseachers, educators, and surgeons who, together, fight the battle against surgical site infections. The mission of the Surgical Infection Society is to educate health-care providers and the public about infection in surgical patients and promote research in the understanding, prevention and management of surgical infections. Dr. Cheadle practices broad-based general surgery and endoscopy.
