Benefit ID Card
Employees enrolled in a medical plan have a combination Anthem BlueCross BlueShield ID card for medical and Express Scripts pharmacy benefits for each covered member. You must present your insurance ID card for medical and pharmacy benefits.

Eligibility for Coverage
Regular status employees who are employed 80% or greater full-time equivalency (FTE) and regular status part-time employees and temporary part-time lecturers (40% to 79% FTE), and pre-65 retirees.

Enrolling in a UofL Medical Plan
Employees are eligible to enroll in a UofL medical plan once per year in the Fall during Open Enrollment. However, if you experience a Qualifying Life Event, you may be eligible to enroll into a UofL medical plan.
