Exciting developments in our Workday Finance journey
In the coming months, we are excited to bring you updates from the project team. This fall, expect a mix of system demonstrations, continued engagement, learning opportunities and updates from project leads as information is ready to be shared. Go-live is still a year away, but our aim is to provide you with the knowledge you need to prepare for activities that will occur closer to go-live such as training and onboarding.
Workday Finance will replace our current legacy financial system, PeopleSoft Finance in July of 2025. We are building Workday Finance with the goal of having the same positive impact on our business and financial practices and management. With Workday Finance, we increase UofL’s power to adapt to change and growth of our core financials, budgets, grant management, procurement, and more.
Support for and from your Change Ambassadors
Change Ambassadors continue to be engaged by the project team for their and your feedback. As details, such as training, are ready to be announced, Change Ambassadors will be the go-to resources for personalized support and guidance for departments and units. UofL can also expect regular updates from project leadership to provide insights and highlight the importance of the Workday Finance changes we are implementing.
