In spring 2021, student writing from all “Written Communication” courses (ENGL 101, 102, 105; WGST 199) was assessed. What did we learn, and how can we use that to improve our teaching? Dr. Katie Shanahan, Coordinator of Cardinal Core Assessment, will share findings from the assessment, and a group of composition instructors who participated as assessors will discuss their experiences and their takeaways for teaching.
