Neleigh Olson wins Mslexia short story competition

Neleigh Olson

Neleigh Olson, part-time faculty member in composition, has won Mslexia's 2021 Short Story Competition, which comes with a cash prize, publication in their December issue, and the top slot in their anthology Best Women's Short Fiction 2021. Mslexia is a feminist magazine based in the UK, and the competition was judged by Scottish novelist and academic A.L. Kennedy, who described Olson's story as offering "a moment of grace, an expression of love, a little magic." Congratulations, Neleigh!
