Friday February 18 at noon: Stop by for a lunchtime community event hosted by the English Graduate Organization (EGO) and me. This will be the first in a series of informal meetings where we can come together as the English graduate studies community to discuss any aspect of academic life in a low-stakes setting.
This month: Tips and Tricks for Conference Presentations. I will be joined by Dr. Matthew Biberman (director of the Louisville Conference on Literature and Culture) and other select faculty members, to chat about best practices for conference presentations, especially for students who are giving a conference presentation for the first time. And if you're already a seasoned presenter: come share your wisdom with us!
All MA and PhD students are welcome. Snacks and bottled waters and snacks will be provided but bring your own lunch. Time and place: Friday 2/18 from 12:00-1:00 pm in Humanities 300.
