In addition, she has authored three micro chapbooks: Story (Origami Poems Project, 2016), The Inchworm Diaries (Origami Poems Project, 2017), and Thrive (Origami Poems Project, 2022).
Her academic research on William Faulkner appeared in Kentucky Philological Review and her essay on Lydia Davis has appeared in The Journal of Kentucky Studies. She has authored over one hundred reference articles for MaGill/Salem press, including articles on Joyce Carol Oates, Lydia Davis, Sandra Cisneros, Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, and the Rosenberg Case. She has published reviews and/or interviews in Pank, Heavy Feathers, and North American Review.
For several years, she served as review editor for Blue Lyra Review and also authored the "Spotlight on a Small Press Feature." Recently, in order to take control of her own critical work she founded Abby N Press. This project, begun with reprinting her "Spotlights on Small Presses," has continued by adding new spotlights, interviews, and reviews. In the near future, she plans to continue building on these elements. Eventually, she plans to branch out into publishing anthologies and chapbooks.
