Professor, scientist, author, and enrolled Citizen Potawatomie tribal member Robin Wall Kimmerer's Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and the Teachings of Plants is far more than a botany book that reads like a bestselling novel (though it is that). It is a generous sharing of Indigenous knowledge regarding our relationships with the natural world and the paradigm shift necessary for us to recover any sense of ecological balance in today's threatened climate. For this reading circle, we will be using the excellent Reader's Guide created by the publisher to lead our discussion, but we will also welcome questions and reflections from the attendees as well. Please join us as we discuss this book that many have found to be life-changing.
