Retiree Health Benefits

Retiree health benefits such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance help support ongoing health coverage and financial protection after employment.

Retiree health benefits are designed to help support ongoing well‑being after employment ends. These benefits may include access to medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage, helping retirees manage healthcare needs and related costs during retirement. By offering continuity of coverage and protection against unforeseen medical expenses, retiree health benefits provide peace of mind and reinforce the university’s long‑term commitment to its employees beyond their active working years.

Retiree Medical Benefits
Retiree medical options differ by age: retirees under age 65 may have access to employer‑sponsored retiree medical or marketplace coverage, while retirees age 65 and older are generally covered through Medicare.
