Dr. Nixon is a fellowship-trained pediatric orthopedist with significant experience in pediatric musculoskeletal trauma and special interests in neuromuscular disorders, hip dysplasia, limb deformities, and foot and ankle conditions. Prior to joining Norton Healthcare, she worked in rural Colorado and prior to that she has lived all over the United States. A native Arizonan, she has also lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Colorado and Michigan and is happy to now call Kentucky home. In addition to her regular clinics at Children’s Orthopaedics of Louisville, she also sees patients at the multidisciplinary Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinic and Kids’ Center for Pediatric Therapies in Louisville. Her free time is spent with her children and husband and she enjoys doing yoga, reading, listening to music, running, and watching superhero movies.
