Dr. Schaper earned his Bachelor of Arts, Biology, Magna Cum Laude, from Murray State University, and his medical degree and orthopaedic surgery residency from University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Orthopaedic Surgery at University of Texas Dallas. Dr. Schaper is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and specializes in total joint replacement – knee & hip, and anterior approach to hip replacement. Dr Schaper joined Ellis & Badenhausen Orthopaedics in 1991 and is the team physician for Christian Academy High School.
