What do you love most about your family and/or friends?
What I love most about my family and friends is their unconditional love and support. I can depend on them for anything.
What undergraduate and graduate degrees do you have?
I have a BA in Communications from the University of Louisville.
Why law school and why Brandeis?
I chose law school because the field of law has endless complex problems to solve and provides you with a wide variety of skills. I chose Brandeis because of the school’s dedication to service and community engagement.
How have you changed since your 1L year?
Since 1L year, my confidence in myself has grown tremendously. I have become less afraid to provide input and bring my ideas to the table.
What is the greatest challenge you've overcome and why?
I am most proud of the fact that I am a first-generation college graduate. I didn’t have an example or blueprint to follow, but I can now use my experience to be that example for future generations in my family who want to pursue higher education.
How do you define Inclusive? How do you define Excellence?
I would define inclusivity as deliberately providing equal opportunity and treatment to everyone, especially for those who are excluded or marginalized.
I would define excellence as passing the expected standard.
What is your professional goal for five years from now?
Five years from now, my goal is to be practicing in estate planning.
