Jeremy Stochaj
Hometown: Originally Hudson, Massachusetts, but I grew up mostly in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
What I love most about my family and friends: I have a six-year-old daughter whom my world delightfully revolves around.
Degree: I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Justice Administration with a minor in Political Science (UofL 2011).
Why Brandeis? I have always believed using my voice to be an advocate for people would be the greatest way to lead a fulfilling life and serve my community.
What have you learned since your 1L year? I have become much more amenable to opposing worldviews.
What are you most proud of? I used to volunteer for the Red Cross Disaster Response Team and have installed more than 500 free smoke detectors in low income households throughout Western Kentucky, at least two of which alerted families to nighttime fires.
What does "inclusive" mean to you? To me, being inclusive means respecting the humanity and equality of all people, while taking care to acknowledge and remedy the social inequities woven into American society.
Goal: To have some trials under my belt
