How to Hire Law Students and Alumni
The Office of Professional Development Staff is committed to assisting law firms, government agencies, nonprofits and other legal-related employers with finding legal talent. Our goal is to tailor our services to fit your hiring needs.
We encourage employers to contact Debra Reh, Career Services Coordinator, at 502-852-6368, or Laurel Hajek, the Assistant Dean for Professional Development, at 502-852-6096 to discuss the different hiring options we offer and help you determine the best way to find the legal talent you need for your organization.
Thank you for considering Brandeis students for your hiring needs. We will work quickly and effectively to help you find candidates who meet your hiring qualifications.
There are three different ways to list a job with the Office of Professional Development for Brandeis School of Law students or alumni:

- Online: Click here to create an account on Symplicity, the Brandeis online job bank, or to log onto your existing account.
The Office of Professional Development will review and approve all job postings before Brandeis Law students and alumni are able to apply for them to ensure they comply with ABA and university guidelines.
Each semester, the Office of Professional Development invites legal employers on campus to recruit law students for summer associate, law clerk, intern and entry-level attorney positions. Law firms, government agencies and a host of other legal organizations find on-campus recruiting to be the most practical way to recruit because they can interview a large number of talented students during a full- or half-day schedule.
The University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law values our alumni and employers who hire and support the law school. Accordingly, the law school charges no fees for on-campus recruiting and allows all employers 100-percent selection. The Office of Professional Development staff will coordinate on campus interview dates and gather application materials from students who meet your hiring criteria.
The Spring 2021 Recruiting session is now open for employers to request an interview schedule either on campus or virtually. Employers can request a schedule by downloading and returning the Debra Reh, completing an online registration at: https://law-louisville-csm.symplicity.com. If questions or you need assistance, contact Debra Reh, the Career Services Coordinator, at (502) 852-6368. Resume Collections or Direct Sends are other options for receiving student documents for consideration.
