What I love most about my family and friends: My family and friends push me to be the best version of myself while also keeping me grounded. Everyone says it, but I truly do not know where I would be without the support circle that I have.
Degree: I graduated from UofL in 2021 with an Equine Administration major and an Entrepreneurship minor. I will also be returning to the UofL College of Business in Fall 2024 to get my MBA as part of the JD/MBA Dual-Degree Program!
Why Brandeis?I took two commercial law courses during my undergraduate that I enjoyed a lot. I knew that I wanted to pursue graduate studies afterwards, so I started looking into law school. Once I found out about dual-degree programs, everything clicked.
What have you learned since your 1L year? 1L feels like it was both just yesterday and a million years ago. Every day since the start of 1L has presented me opportunities to grow and learn. With these lessons I have become more accepting of and grateful for who I am and who I will be.
What are you most proud of? I am most proud of how far I have developed as an equestrian over the past sixteen years and the experiences this sport has led me to. I owe so much of who I am and where I am to the equine industry. In a way, I owe going to law school to it.
What does "inclusive" mean to you? Being inclusive to me is accepting, acknowledging, and celebrating all that surrounds us. Excellence is the journey to being the most authentic version of yourself.
Goal: In five years, I will be a part of corporate/in-house counsel for an organization in the equine industry.
