Graduate Careers and Job Placements
Our student body is very diverse and their career pathways are equally diverse. Our graduates are employed in academia, in the non-profit sector, public policy, government, libraries, cultural administration, the law, publishing, and institutional education and research. Two of our most recent graduates, for instance, have been offered post-doc and digital humanities positions at prestigious universities such as Cornell University and institutions such as the Poetry Foundation in Chicago.
Snapshot of our graduates:
- ~40% are teaching at the university level
- ~20% are writers or in the publishing field
- ~10% are in educational administration
- The remaining 30% are teaching at the high school level, continuing their studies, running businesses, working in the mental health field, hosting podcasts/radio shows, in ministry, in public office.
