Meeting the Moment through Community Engagement

In an era of mounting skepticism toward higher education, our institutions face a critical moment to demonstrate their indispensable role in society. The path to strengthening and building continued local trust is through deep, authentic engagement with real issues in our communities. Through holistic and institution-wide community engagement, our campuses are essential catalysts for economic development, community health, civic dialogue, and opportunity. We’ll explore what doing this work takes, how to foster commitment across the campus, and the necessity of faculty, staff, students, and community partners working together to move the mission forward.
