Community Engagement
Addressing the needs and interests of our communities locally, statewide, nationally and internationally.
The Community Engagement Town Hall is an opportunity for faculty, staff, and students to share about their community-engaged teaching, research, creative activity, and outreach. Those in attendance will learn about the community engagement work happening across the university. The Office of Community Engagement also provides updates during the Town Halls so this is a great time to learn about some of the new developments and priorities of the university, relating to community engagement.
The first Community Engagement Town Hall was held Thursday, February 1, 2024 in partnership with the School of Medicine Office of Community Engagement and Diversity with short talks from the UofL Office of Community Engagement and presentations on community-engaged work from the Future Healer's program and the Center for Integrative Environmental Health Sciences.
