Business Students and West End Community Leaders: Collaborate to Promote Economic Development

College of Business students and West End community leaders collaborate to identify community needs for businesses & services and the available real estate for entrepreneurial ventures to meet these community needs. Students received guided tours of West End neighborhoods, spoke with community organizers, and surveyed residents and existing businesses owners to identify paths for future entrepreneurial ventures. Students then identified a geographic corridor that would provide the necessary infrastructure to support burgeoning entrepreneurs to meet community needs.
