The community-based learning institute is a three half day program designed to assist faculty in developing a new community-based learning course or modify an existing course to include a service-learning component. At the end of the three days, you will have ideas and plans for your course to give you a jump start for the next semester.
You will gain ideas and resources for your course or your work placing students in community-based settings . Participants can expect presentations from other faculty and community partners and participate in small group exercises and dedicated work time.
