Redesigned Jobs, Resilient Workers: A Workforce Development Initiative

In this lightning talk, the Redesigned Jobs, Resilient Workers (RJRW) initiative – a collaborative effort leveraging U of L and regional employers’ application of job redesign principles to find innovative ways to address challenges faced by frontline workers – will be described. The goals of the initiative included increasing access to economy-boosting and higher-quality frontline jobs to address workforce inequities, and increasing job outcomes such as employee retention and engagement about which employees and employers are most concerned.
