For either options, at least three (3) semester hours of the requirements for a minor must be successfully completed while enrolled in the University of Louisville.

Students should take four courses in Ancient/Modern Jewish History and Society (to be designated as such and published by the Jewish Studies program director each semester). Students are strongly encouraged to take at least one course in Ancient Jewish History and Society and at least one course in Modern Jewish History and Society.

The equivalent in Arabic or Yiddish may also be accepted with the permission of the Jewish Studies advisor.
