On Tuesday, September 27, 2022, PhD student Annika Reitenga will be featured on a panel that the Courier-Journal's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee is hosting for its reporting staff. The panel will focus on the criminalization of HIV and what can be learned to inform coverage of Monkeypox. Reitenga will share their research on stigmatizing rhetorics around viruses.
