Retirement planning can be a daunting topic and you may find yourself asking, how do I start?  Am I saving enough?  What's my next step?  Where can I go for help?  Whether you are thinking about retiring soon or just getting started with your retirement savings journey, we are working on bringing retirement sessions on campus with a variety of financial and retirement-related topics to help you along your road to retirement.  Please join us!  All sessions are open to faculty, staff and retirees.

Monthly Brown Bag Seminar Series:

University of Louisville 403(b) Retirement Plan 101, Basics and Beyond

All faculty, staff and retirees are invited to bring their lunch and join us each month for a brown bag seminar series called University of Louisville 403(b) Retirement Plan 101, Basics and Beyond. During this one hour session, you will learn the basics of the university’s 403(b) plan with information about your contribution options, how much you should be saving, and investment options. These sessions are a great opportunity for new and current employees to learn more about one of the best benefits the university offers to employees. This session will be presented by Fidelity Investments. Spouses are also welcome.

5 Money Musts for Millennials

 Fidelity Investments will be on campus June 21, providing a free workshop for faculty and staff.  5 Money Musts for Millennials is a workshop designed to help millennials start to build a solid foundation for the future and to learn more about the five basic money concepts – budgeting, credit, debt, investing, and retirement.

Both Fidelity and TIAA have a robust offering of online resources, including many webinars at no cost to you.  View the webinar and online resources on the respective websites listed below.

Fidelity:

Fidelity offers many live and on demand webinars on topics such as multi-goal planning, retirement income planning, budgeting and more.  Any participant can login into Fidelity NetBenefits via webworkshops.fidelity.com to access live workshops of varying topics.  Login is required.

Pre-recorded webinars are also available at any time on demand, without requiring a log in. 

TIAA:
