Admissions Scholarships

All other Admissions Scholarships: No deadline; awarded on a rolling basis.
No scholarship application required.
- Students who meet the minimum criteria will be notified of their award or eligibility in their New Cards Gateway.
- All awards listed are renewable.
- Admissions scholarships cannot be stacked with other admissions scholarships.
- Students will receive the highest scholarship amount they qualify for.
- Students attending school on an F1 visa are not eligible
for admissions scholarships. International scholarships are available.

**Students may use a combination of two- and four-year transferrable credit AND test credit to equate 24+ transferrable hours as long as the most recent transfer institution is a four-year institution. Institutions must be regionally accredited.
Students enrolled in an entirely online program are not eligible for consideration.

FAFSA-Based Aid
If you wish to apply for any need-based program, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). UofL’s school code is 001999.
The FAFSA form you fill out should correspond with the school year you're seeking aid for:
- If you're applying for the 2025-2026 school year (fall 2025 through summer 2026), submit the 2025-2026 FAFSA form.
- If you plan to start at UofL before August 2025, you will want to also complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA.
We highly encourage you to complete the FAFSA as soon as possible after it opens for your desired school year. Each year's FAFSA starts on December 1.
• Need-based aid, tuition assistance and scholarships do not need to be repaid.
• Loans require repayment. Subsidized loans charge interest after graduation. Unsubsidized loans charge interest immediately.
• All amounts below are based on the 2024-2025 FAFSA.
