Video: Second-year Brandeis Law student shares what keeps her motivated
For Julianne Tackett, the drive to become a lawyer comes from a source close to her heart: her 8-year-old daughter, Ella.
"She's my motivation for everything. I knew I wanted better things for her, and I thought law school would be the best place to utilize my skills and my talents, so I decided I'd become a lawyer."
Tackett, a single mother, acknowledges that balancing the demands of parenthood and law school can be tough. She credits the support of family and Brandeis Law faculty for helping her to keep going.
