Professor Mark Rothstein receives AJPH’s Paper of the Year award
Brandeis School of Law Professor Mark Rothstein has been given the American Journal of Public Health Editor's Choice Award for Paper of the Year. He received the award for his paper titled, "The Moral Challenge of Ebola," which originally appeared as an editorial in the American Journal of Public Health in January 2015.
Awards are chosen by members of the editorial staff and editorial board. According to a news release, the award for AJPH Paper of the Year recognizes a published paper that substantially contributes to our knowledge and understanding of an important public health issue or has advanced a given public health policy or program.
Criteria for selection include a paper that addresses an important and timely public health issue; is innovative, offering new knowledge or insights; has the potential to have a significant public health impact; and advances public health.
