Prof. Weaver contributes chapter to 'Blasphemy and Freedom of Expression' from Cambridge University Press
Brandeis School of Law Professor Russell Weaver, an internationally respected scholar in the area of free speech, has written a chapter in a new book from Cambridge University Press.
Blasphemy and Freedom of Expression: Comparative, Theoretical and Historical Reflections after the Charlie Hebdo Massacre was published in November 2017.
Weaver's chapter is titled "Blasphemy Prohibitions and Prosecutions: A US Perspective."
"This book investigates the status and tenability of blasphemy laws in Western jurisdictions," states the book's introduction.
