An article by Brandeis Law Professor JoAnne Sweeny arguing that the First Amendment doesn't protect catcallers has been featured in Gender and the Law Blog.
"Trapped in Public: The Regulation of Street Harassment and Cyber-Harassment Under the Captive Audience Doctrine" argues that "laws regulating street or cyber-harassment should be protected from First Amendment scrutiny under the captive audience doctrine," states the abstract.
The article was published in the Summer 2017 issue of the Nevada Law Journal.
