Prof. Maynard comments on federal tax reform's impact on education funding

Brandeis School of Law Professor Goldburn P. Maynard Jr. was quoted in a Dec. 19, 2017, news story about the possible impact of a federal tax reform on education funding.

Maynard, a tax law expert, says that the new tax bill could force some difficult financial decisions.

"Education may be one of those areas that is affected because a lot of education funding comes from things like property taxes, state income taxes, et cetera," he says in the story.
